Volunteering with such a respected humanitarian organisation was an incredibly experience that allowed me to contribute to my community.

During my time at the shop, I assist with a variety of tasks including customer service, sorting and displaying donations, and helping to maintain a welcoming and organized environment for both staff and visitors.

Volunteering at the shop not only gave me practical experience in a retail setting but also allowed me to meet and collaborate with a diverse team of volunteers and staff. It was inspiring to see how each contribution, no matter how small, helps the organisation achieve its mission of supporting people in crisis and fostering resilience in communities.

This experience strengthened my teamwork and communication skills, taught me the importance of empathy and patience, and reinforced my passion for contributing to meaningful causes.

I look forward to continuing my involvement with the British Red Cross and finding new ways to make a positive impact.
